New Port Richey is a community located about 35 miles North of Tampa, in Pasco County.

Bayonet Point Village is a 55 and older Deed Restricted mobile home community. The park opened in 1985 and became resident owned, when purchased by the residents, in 2004. Small pets are permitted.
There are 160 home sites. All but 13 lots are occupied. These lots are available for placement of new homes. There are 68 residents who own shares and 79 residents who lease their lot. For shareholders the monthly maintenance fee is $175. For those who lease, the monthly maintenance fees run from a low of $279.24 to a high of $337.14 per month. These fees include use of the clubhouse, a heated swimming pool, shuffleboard courts, lawn mowing and edging, trash removal and sewer. The community has paved streets and sidewalks, with ample lighting.
All homes are double-wide units which have a covered carport, cement driveway and an in-ground sprinkler system.
There is a listing of homes currently for sale. Homes are available with or without a share. There is an opportunity to purchase a share if the home currently does not have one. Shares are currently $25,000. Some homes may also be available to rent as indicated on the homes for sale listing. Arrangements for renting would be conducted with the home owner, as shown on the listing.
It is important to note that all potential residents are required to pass a background and credit check, and are also required to have an interview with the Board of Directors.
